Nessie

Nessie is a cryptid (folk-lore creature) said to inhabit Loch Ness in the Scottish Highlands. While sightings of Nessie vary, most describe her as a one-humped creature with a long neck sticking out of the water. When brought to world-wide community in 1933, scientists proclaimed Nessie to be a Plesiosaurus (an aquatic dinosaur that became extinct during the Cretaceous- Paleogene extinction event. 
 
Crochet Nessie is completely handmade, stitched with polyester yarn and stuffed with poly-fiber fill. Each of the pieces are stitched onto the body-- including the eyes!! However, we do ask that you be careful when gifting Nessie to your little ones because the neck does have braided pipe cleaners in the center (to help it maintain shape). We also feature customization options for the color! Therefore, if there is a color you would like Nessie to be featured in, feel free to let us know, and we will be happy to oblige. Just note that the project takes about 1-2 weeks to complete per Nessie. (:
